Weller Award
In commemoration of Albert Weller (1922-1996), the photochemistry division of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) and the German Bunsen Society for Physical Chemistry (DBG) jointly award the Weller prize every two years for an outstanding dissertation in the area of photochemistry and spectroscopy.
On the occasion of the next meeting of the photochemistry division of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) during the ICP in Cologne in July 2007, the Weller Prize, consisting of 1000 € and a certificate, will be awarded for the fifth time. The laureate, preferably a young researcher up to three years postdoctoral, will have the opportunity to present his/her work in a lecture during the conference.
